Philip Derham, the company principal of Derham Marketing Research Pty. Ltd., specialises in finance, retail and franchise, communications, tertiary education, business-to-business and within-business and consumer research. Philip has worked with respondent groups across Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Respondents have ranged from the richest and most powerful to city “sophisticates” and regional dwellers, doctors, small business owners, blue collar workers, local and international students, investors and those who live “hand-to-mouth”, and those who describe themselves as “just mums.” He is an experienced designer and manager of large & small, on-going & one-off, quantitative & qualitative research programs. Philip’s experience developed in roles with major media, market research, and government bodies, including the Australian Bureau of Statistics, The Herald & Weekly Times, and Roy Morgan Research. He holds a BA (Monash); a Grad. Dip.Marketing (Chisholm); and a Dip.MR. Philip is a Member of the Australian Market & Social Research Society, the AMInstitute and Business Boroondara. As an AMSRS Qualified Practicing Market Researcher, he continually trains to ensure his skills are cutting edge.
