At biNu Mark is responsible for Research & Rewards platform. It is well understood the impact of mobile phones on society and no where is this more relevant in the emerging markets of Africa, Asia and Latin America. biNu is an app that gives basic enabled feature phones fast, cheap and easy access to Internet services. biNu’s has a 2+ million monthly active users that not only to consume content but to are keen to engage with brands and research companies and share their opinions. In his role he manages strategic relationships and the Research & Rewards product strategy. Mark has spoken at a number of conferences on the use of mobile in the emerging markets including Market Research Mobile World Singapore & London, Mobile Education Symposium Washington, Mobile Web Africa, and Mobile Marketing Association Singapore. Mark has been working in the IT industry for over 20 years, he has founded and worked in start ups to working with industry leaders such as Oracle. Prior to working at biNu, Mark was Vice President for business development at Proxima Technology. In 1995 he founded Insight Innovations which merged with Proxima Technology. Originally from the UK he moved to Australia in 1990 working for Oracle. Mark is a family man, technologist and marathon ocean surf ski paddler and mountain biker.
