Jo kick started her career juggling multiple hats – including telephone operations, client servicing, new business growth and marketing strategies at specialist research agency, Facts International. She soon became an integral part of Facts’ executive team and continued to specialise in delivering large-scale, International, and multi-mode studies, while still driving new business and marketing strategies forward for the division. In early 2012, Jo helped CIE start up a new digital venture, Watermelon Research, which saw outstanding growth in its first year. With her extensive experience in international research and a keen passion for digital technologies, Jo helped to launch Watermelon to APAC and Sydney in 2013. That same year she was named the face of Women in Research (WIRe) when it launched its networking events programme in Sydney.
